Evansville Food Truck Festival to return May 30 after COVID pause

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – After more than a year of no food festivals, the 4th Annual Evansville Food Truck Festival is right around the corner.

Joe Notter of Evansville Events began putting together food-themed festivals four years ago starting with the first Food Truck Festival, then moving into the delicious realms of wings, strombolis, tacos, barbecue and many more.

Until dismal 2020.

“We haven’t done a festival in 15 months,” Notter said. “I felt like I lost hope at some point. We were hoping that this past January would come around and things would get better, but we couldn’t even do our January Resolution Run which gets us going for the year, so it was really stressful.”
